		<description>@slipslip - Windows wasn&#039;t invited because I prefer working in a UNIX environment, cygwin just doesn&#039;t cut it for me, and I choose to put my dollars into technologies that I believe in.  Additionally, I have no other Windows hosts in my configuration-managed home network.  I also use the Mac Mini for a number of other services (it is a Hadoop HDFS/mapreduce node, for example), since it has no problem handling 1080p video.  For many, Windows would be an excellent choice, but it was not a consideration for me.</description>

		<description>Why wasn&#039;t windows invited to the party?  It can do everything you require from your mac mini, including remote ssh administration using OpenSSH, and it would have been cheaper.</description>
